Clinical history & Treatment progress
June After our daughter was born, the doctors discovered what they thought was a heart murmur.
it turned out to be a complete atrioventricular septal defect.
July We started injections of Synagis and monthly medical checks.
September First Cardiac Catheterization. We discovered that our daughter’s Pulmonary hypertension was not making progress due to a Pulmonary artery stenosis.
January Contrast CT examination conducted – the result of the CT led to our daughter being diagnosed with a peripheral pulmonary artery stenosis. We started home oxygen therapy (0.5L).
March Our daughter had her Second Cardiac Catheterization
April Our daughter was diagnosed with Williams syndrome
We discovered that our daughter’s Pulmonary hypertension was not making progress due to a Pulmonary artery stenosis.
Her condition is stable now.
However, since Pulmonary artery is not grown up, we are planning to start treatment at Peripheral pulmonary artery stenosis. So we are planning Balloon catheter treatment at the beginning of June to enlarge the stenosis.
